The Bronze Varaha Statue can be found in the pit where the spikes come down. There are two Treasures to be collected in The City's Secret: The Bronze Altar Spoon is found in a passageway on the right-hand side at the start of the chapter. Where are all the treasures in Uncharted 2? You'll find the treasure hidden right at the very front of the boat. Gold and Turquoise Inca Earring: When you're atop the boat, instead of entering it from the middle, run right to the end of it. You need to go left to progress – but if you follow the path right you'll find a treasure. Similarly, you may ask, how do you find the treasure in Uncharted? You'll get to know the game's play style and controls and enjoy a pulpy adventure story that has some solid moments of humor and drama mixed in. Uncharted is not a Lesbian Love Story but a story of a mentally ill young woman who may actually come out on top in the end OR collapse. One may also ask, how long is uncharted 1? The game is overall pretty short, with my playthrough clocking in around eight hours total, making it a nice appetizer into the world of Uncharted. You will come to a large rusty tube that leads to a lower level (cannot be missed). It's located in Chapter 4 (Run to Ground), soon after entering the underground section. Uncharted 3 contains 100 Treasures + 1 Bonus Treasure, known as the Strange Relic. The relic is in the shape of an egg and is covered by two rows of strange symbols.īesides, where is the strange relic in Uncharted 3? It is also an artifact found in Golden Abyss. A Thief’s End has a climax that’s more cinematic and does a better job serving the story. The strange relic is one of the 61 treasures that can be found in Drake's Fortune, one of the 101 in Among Thieves and Drake's Deception, and one of the 109 in A Thief's End. I don’t hate Uncharted 2’s final boss, as others do, even if it’s a mediocre battle in a game that’s anything but generic. It has action-packed moments, but they feel familiar (collapsing bridges, falling buildings, and so on). Against this, Uncharted 4 comes off as a quieter game. Uncharted 2 has other incredible moments, including a fight with a helicopter (that at one point blew up the building you were in) and a battle with a tank that chased you across an entire village. So, even though I was playing it for the first time, it felt like a rerun. Sadly, the impact of that set piece is lower because Sony showed the entire thing during its E3 press conference last year. Even Uncharted 4 doesn’t have a level that’s as good.Īn Uncharted 4 scene where Nate and Sully escape a city on a truck comes close to the train level. The scale of it was ridiculous for its time, but it’s even crazier that nothing has surpassed it. Drake fought his way through and on top of a speeding locomotive as it steamed its ways past beautiful landscapes. But, besides that, I appreciate how it makes Drake’s adventure about more than headshots and explosions. Heck, mechanically, the shooting actually feels better than it does in Uncharted 2, and its larger environments make battles more fun than the narrow fights in Uncharted 2. Uncharted 4’s approach feels fresher.īesides, Uncharted 4 still has gunplay. However, a lot of games are about shooting people. I’m not trying to knock Uncharted 2 for having a lot of gunplay. You spend more time with other aspects of adventuring, like puzzle-solving and exploring. But now that I played Uncharted 4, focusing less on gunplay makes more sense for a Nathan Drake adventure. I love jumping in and out cover, shooting blindly at foes while rolling out of the way of enemy grenades. Some people criticize Uncharted’s shooting mechanics, but I’ve enjoyed them. However, it also becomes annoying when those new bad guys are difficult to kill and take a million shots to die, especially when you really just want to race to the end of the story. Now, for a pure shooter, adding a new kind of enemy can add excitement. It also avoids a trope that the other Uncharted games followed the final act doesn’t unleash a new type of enemy (always some sort of group of mystical beings that take a ton of shots to kill) right before the end. A Thief’s End has fewer mandatory battles. You can more easily avoid fights or run away from them. The last one-third emphasizes this, pitting players against hordes of enemies in unavoidable battles. At its core, it’s a third-person shooter. Basically, it depends on how much you like shooting things, because Among Thieves has a lot more gunplay. This one comes down a bit more to personal preference.
